... and here, in another Dench classic, is a Belarussian soldier drinking vodka in a windswept Minsk car-park at 10am. Peter and I were in this weird country to find out why the menfolk die so young (life expectancy 55ish). Why am I showing you these pictures? By way of explanation. For the next few days I am going to be out of town, firstly in the remote Scilly Island of St Agnes, doing a piece called Britain's Other Islands, then in Denmark, with Peter, meeting the 'Children of the SS'. In Legoland (I shall explain some other time). Anyhoo, if my blogging is light or non-existent over the next few days, you now know why. Course I might get bored, and blog every day.
